Q. Who maintains the aircraft?
Aircraft our customers fly are maintained according to the highest Military standards of Russian Federation. All parts are replaced according to the aircraft maintenance schedule. When required aircraft sent to design bureau approved maintenance and repair facility to undergo all necessary procedures. We are proud to say that no scheduled flights have been ever cancelled due to any maintenance problem.
Q. Your aircraft looks like it could use a paint job. Why?
That is a great question! Due to a supersonic capabilities of MiG and Sukhoi Jet Fighters paint is not holding on for too long. The reason for that is huge temperature changes in a short period of time and Mach 2+ supersonic speeds.
Every aircraft is painted many times a year and it's the greatest challenge to keep the aircraft presentable. Paint used on supersonic aircraft has to be the approved type only. Unfortunately not all approved paint has exactly the best color for a Kodak moment due to the fact that it was designed and approved in Soviet Union times.
