Posted: February 11, 2005 (2:47 AM) | | Hardly to say: everybody knows that the best ARE AH-64 "Apache", Ka-50 and Ka-52 "Alligator", Mi-28H "Nochnoi ohotnik = Night Hunter", "Comanche", although it was only a prototype and will never enter into mass production. but really hard to say which is the best, the only one. there is no such thing. for me was Ka-50 and its variants, but when "Mil Design Bureau" demonstrated the latest version with latest avionics Mi-28H, and russian officials said that it will be the mass produced russian combat helicopter and Ka-50 and its variants will be used in small amounts for special operations, then was clear that the both best helis are Mi-28H and AH-64. But I adore Ka-50, the most beautiful heli machine in the world. no doubt. |

B - Like the AH-64 it is much slower and less armoured then the Russian attack helo's
C - It has had massive problems being introduced into service in France, Germany and Australia. From mechanical problems to weapon system malfunctions . in other words it doesn't even work. |
